Our Story

What We Believe In, We Build with Passion

ENRAIL has grown by taking greater responsibility for the projects we believe in. What began as advisory work has evolved into project development, EPCm, aiming to service the full value chain.



2010
Advisory Roots in Renewables

ENRAIL began as an independent advisor to developers, investors, utilities and industrial clients, supporting hydro, solar and wind projects across Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.



2020
From Advisory to Development

We began reinvesting our earnings into our own projects, applying our experience, and evolving into full project development.



2022
Entering the German Market

ENRAIL enters the German market by establishing ENRAIL GmbH in Lüneburg. This is later followed by the formation of GSI ENRAIL, a joint venture between ENRAIL and Goldbeck Solar Invest, to bring the Austrian rail power projects to Germany.



2024
From Development to EPCm

ENRAIL developed and realised the first utility-scale renewable energy project feeding directly into the railway power grid for ÖBB Infrastruktur AG.



BESS at the Core

Battery storage is now the core of our business. Over the years, we have built a significant portfolio of stand-alone and co-located battery storage projects across multiple markets.

We believe that flexibility is becoming critical not only for balancing electricity systems, but also for enabling industries and businesses to access reliable and affordable energy in an increasingly volatile world.
